I've been wanting to go back to college, (for accounting) but I'm afraid to do the online school thing....does anyone know if employers look at online colleges as a downside? Would my income be extremely less than if I went to a campus? I can't really afford to go to a campus, and I don't really like the atmosphere and would rather do the online courses...help??
Online accounting college???
I hope not.
Education is standardised in the UK. This means that if you have a degree or a qualification you have had to pass the same criteria in a taught university as an on-line university.
Accountancy is one of the subjects one can do on line so many colleges opt for online. This is done for purely practical purposes - to alleviate the pressure on colleges.
I think you should relax about this.
Reply:You are in my same position. I would rather to do accounting online because to keep it in pace in my own time instead go to school to fit their schedule time. So, I can finish it early. A week ago, I checked universities online. The universities online are so expensive. Whoa!! So, I decided to email to community college near my home and waiting for their response. If I didn't receive email this week, I would call adviser or counselor Best way is to call adviser or counselor of community college near your home and check it out. Good luck!

Reply:I sure hope potential employers look down on applicants with online degrees.
Anyway, colleges are more affordable than what you think.
Check out the FAFSA website.

Online Casino Banking?
Hi,
I have a question about something thats been bothering me forever!
Do Online Casinos hold banking licenses?
If they accept deposits into accounts from various users surely that classifies them as a bank under banking regulation?
How does a deposit work with an online bank?
When I transfer funds does the money go into their bank account/merchant account or is it held "Virtually" until its used?
Just curious as to where my money goes when it leaves my account and before it used online....
Online Casino Banking?
Under normal circumstances, online casinos use payment processors to handle their financial transactions. The online casinos themselves do not hold banking licenses. Payment processors may have some type of license but I'm not sure. Processors that are commonly used by online casinos are eWalletXpress, ePassporte, PIC-Club, Neteller, Moneybookers, Firepay, etc.

I can't use online scan through Kaspersky.?
Kaspersky provides a free online scan at their site. When I try to scan online, the first thing it does is of course update the virus definitions. When I reach a hundred %, an error pops up which says
Update process FAILED. No further antivirus functions can be performed. Attention. You must be online to activate Kaspersky Online Scanner, since the latest Antivirus bases version must be downloaded prior to scan. Otherwise we cannot guarantee the detection of latest viruses. [21]
Obviously, I am online. I am connected to the internet because I was able to access the site of Kaspersky. I thought maybe the problem's in my browser. I reinstalled Internet explorer but nothing happened. I still wait for the update only to find out that it can not proceed further. Please help me. I don't want any other scanners or antiviruses. I just want Kaspersky. Please help me make it work. PLEEEEEEEEEAAAAASSSSSSSSEEEEEEEEEE...

Quality of eyeglasses bought online?
I've bought two pairs of eyeglasses online with my current prescription, but they feel funny when I try to use them - they are better than no glasses, but noticably worse than the current glasses that I wear (the same prescription) even though those glasses are quite scratched.
If you've bought glasses online, how have you found them? Where did you buy them from?
I bought mine from Zenni optical because they were really cheap and I had heard good comments about them.
The glasses I received are too small for my face - I thought I had the measurements from my prescription filled into the online form correctly, and I thought I was getting the correct size. In the future, if I buy online, how can I know which glasses to choose? I don't understand the information given for each pair of glasses on the online sites - which numbers correspond to the total width of the glasses between the earpieces (if I know that I can measure against my current eyeglasses)??
Thanks very much
Quality of eyeglasses bought online?
I have bought one pair of regular glasses online and one pair of prescription sunglasses. Because of price, I am now able to have two or three pairs I so desire and I can afford to replace my glasses and still have money to pay the bills.
The best way to get glasses that fit is to take out a comfortable pair that you have and measure the temple (from the beginning of the 90ยบ curve, not from the hinge, to the end of the curve behind your ear), the bridge (distance between the lenses), and the width and height of the lens. Most websites will show all of these measurements and you can compare what you have and like with that for which you are shopping. Note that all measurements are in millimeters.
When I bought my first pair online, I was so pleased with the quality and price that I started a website informing others about the option of buying glasses online. You can visit it at the link below if you are interested, where you will find much more information and details on finding the right pair of glasses over the internet.

Reply:Buying glasses online is so lame to begin with.
How can anyone expect to get accuracy from an online store who has never even seen you. You certainly aren't going to get quality at those prices either.
I think those who fall for that to try and save a few bucks, deserve all the problems they get.
Reply:I buy mine from www.optical4less.com. They have a complete measuring guide. Mine are progressive lenses which are much harder to get right, and they are BETTER than the ones I bought from an optical store. So I trust these guys. The packaging will scare you, but somehow they arrive safely. I guess that in itself is a testament to the quality of the glasses? Also mine are rimless and they have no "wobble" after a year. Pretty good I think.
N.B. This may be worthy of note, I considered Zenni initially but they "couldn't" do my prescription. Make of that what you will.

Online Cheat codes for Madden 07?
I have checked all the sites and they all say that the cheat codes cannot be used for online play. Is this true or are there a different set of codes or way to use the codes for online game? I can't get to madden cards while in online play. Any advice I'll take it. thanks
Online Cheat codes for Madden 07?
no you cannot use cheatcodes online for ps2 becouse the scripting changes wean u enter the online mode
Reply:Cheat codes never work online. They don't work because it makes the game less fun for everyone else. How would you feel if the other person caught every singles pass, could never be intercepted, and couldn't be tackled? The same thing goes for the Madden cards. You can't use them online because the game wouldn't be as fair anymore.
Reply:ya you can't use cheats during an online play i have the game lol
Reply:I do not think so sorry...
