Online flirting - people with partners doing this?

What is your opinion of married people or people in relationships participating in online flirting? I am single and am amazed at the number of people I have met online who will tell me openly that they are either married or in a serious relationship but are still entering these flirting/meet people sites. I find this a bit upsetting. I never have anything to do with them. Am I just not in this real world? Does it not say that there is something wrong with their relationships if they are doing this? I mean it is so easy to start falling for someone you meet online, I think it is risky and disrespectful to their partners.

I did it once, and I'm in a long term relationship with my bf. I was feeling very insecure that day b/c of something he said to me so I just went online for an hour. I spoke to this guy who was married. At the end of our short talk he gave me his email but I never used it. I got rid of my urge and it never went further. (And we were long distance at the time, by the way.)





I think that it's not ideal, but if you draw the line like I did then it's not ideal OK. And I am VERY respectful person.

i think its totally disrespectful, to be honest i think its borderline cheating on thier partners.
Reply:usually this happens when couples are distant, either physically or emotionally... I'm in a long distance relationship at the moment and sometimes it is VERY tempting mainly because online flirting is so EASY... however I can avoid it... I don't know for others, people just have different ways of controlling and for some it's just hard.

Reply:flirting is normal it's just human instinct.. and nothing is wrong with online flirting just know where to draw the line.. But on the other hand if online flirting is hurting the other person that is in the relationship then, yes it is wrong and it's not worth it.. Maybe they should try flirting with the person that they are married to
