Online Surveys?

Do online surveys really work? If I were to do online surveys, would I actually get paid?? Is it a scam? Please only people who have actually participated in online surveys.

Online Surveys?
The rule, as always, is to stay away from those that ask you to pay before you can get these surveys.

Legitimate market survey companies such as Pinecone Research recruit members based on demographic characteristics -- e.g. mothers of babies 0-12 years old -- and will send surveys of products and services targeting this demographic group. Pinecone Research, however, pays only $5 per survey -- you're definitely not going to be rich with that. They can give you anywhere from 1-5 at most surveys in a month.

Other companies simply ask you to answer as many research as possible, and you don't earn anything just the chance to win at a raffle (which I find lame).

The article "Earning Money from Surveys" provide a short list of legitimate market research firms and contains explanations of what to look for when joining surveys (and weeding out the fraudulent ones)

Reply:There are some that do pay. One called Pinecone Research that I was part of for a long time and they always pay. A lot of them do drawings and I won 50 in one. Follow this link to Online-sweepstakes and then go to forums -misc -free stuff and then surveys and mystery shops. You can get a lot of good information there.

Reply:Depends on who you do the surveys for, I belong to a bunch and get anywhere from $5 to free DVD's for points that are built up, you just need to be careful for the scam that asks you to pay them to find you paid surveys.
Reply:The rule of thumb here is to never get involved with survey companies that you have to pay to get started with. Those are generally the scam ones. I've never experienced a free survey company that didn't make good on it's rewards. However you tend to benefit more from the companies that offer point for every survey rather than ones that you just get entered into drawings to possibly win money for each survey you take. I take a lot of online surveys for a small amount of extra cash and found the one's who only rewards you with drawings are a big fat WASTE OF TIME. It's like winning the lotto, so your chances to actually get compensated anything are like nil!
Reply:I have done some online polls and I donot get paid on them... go to misterpoll.com for details
Reply:I would recommend you to do Data entry job which is done by just entering simple data from home. This amazing system allows you to earn $1000 per day.

Hope this helps.
Reply:There are real and also fake one, cross check before taking decision
Reply:It's a big scam, all they want is your email address so they can sell it to anyone that will buy it. And there are plenty that will. I joined one of them and never received as much as .01 cent . My inbox got so jammed I had to change my address.

They are all scams, some people just don't realize it yet. They will when they find that they can't get paid for there points no matter how much they ask.
