Reply:Online schools work like any other schools, you have to study and take tests. Depending on what course you take you may have to take proctored exams at the end of your semester also.





Go to www.pennfoster.edu you find all the information you need.





The only thing they request of you prior to acceptance is if you are taking a class that requires a high school diploma of GED you will need to send them a copy of your certificate. They also want a down payment, which you choose how much you want your down payment to be. Then they base your payments on the rest.


The payments are interest free, which is nice.

The essay must be 500-1,000 words, and the question to be answered is: How is your family putting "Christ" into Christmas this year? The contest ends December 31st, 2006.

Reply:If you are going to a school online, you have to make sure it is a regionally accredited school before you start. I work for Devry University and I deal with potential online students everyday. There are a lot of online schools out their and you want to make sure you find a school online that has the same credentials as a campus school. Devry has the highest accredidation out their just like any campus university like an University of Illinois etc. You can get into any legitimate online school with a GED or HS diploma. If there is anything else they are asking for, such as an Associates degree or anything else, I wouldnt waste my time with it.





What you should do is request information from various online schools, and ask questions such as what is their accredidation, how do their online classes work, and how they find out your financial status.





I work for Devry University and I can help you out if you want to learn more about it. I do not like selling education to students, but there are a lot of bogus schools out there. As long as you do your research, you should be fine. All you got to do is ask.
