Online Relationships?

I used to think that those were soo incredibly stupid and pathetic. until i actually met someone. it wasnt like i was looking for a guy online, but we just started talking and stuff and i really like him. i find it kind of uncomfortbale that its online, but i dont know. He just started asking me about my relationship status and stuff but i dont know how i feel about online relationships now. What do you guys think?

Reply:i have the same thing going on with me right now.....i like my online friend....hes there for advice, have to greatest time with him, and he's the closest guy i have....(i've seen him on myspace just to let ya'll know i didnt for 4 some predator). but he lives SO far away i know i cant make anything happen except 4 just staying friends....a piece of advice: if u like him tell him...u never know if he feels the same but if u know that already and lives far away u need to talk to him about wat u 2 want of this.....just be VERY careful if u havent seen a pic or sumthing prooving he's wat he says
Reply:they are cool . I had one once , but we only lived an hour away so it werent that long .Go with your heart , do you like this guy so much that you'd want a long distance relationship with him ? If you love him enough long distance relationships are basically the same thing as in person to person .

Reply:I don't really know how I feel about Online Relationships. The thought of LIKING a complete stranger, is kinda scary. It may sound good and you could think he is the real thing, but in reality he could be a Horrible person who only wants to hurt you. Then again, he could be the GREATEST person you've ever met, even if it's online. I know how exciting getting to know someone online can be, they say all the right things to make you feel special and think twice about the JOES you are already dating. Whatever the outcome is, I hope your careful when and if you do decide to pursue this relationship. Best Of Luck.

Reply:I personally don't think online relationships are possible, unless both people are a 100 % honest.That's difficult to do, because when you're not seeing someone you can't tell. Body language says a lot about a person.Or, the way that person looks at you.Online, you can't do that.


But,I've heard of many people that met online, and happy until this day.They are possible, but rare.If I was in your shoes,I would try to not become closer to this person.It would just complicate things.But, the best of luck of you.
Reply:its not as if it will go anywhere if you,r in different countrys so carry on its nice to have a friend if however there was a chance of meeting you,ll have to decide what to do about it then

Reply:It depends. If you are on just any website where you can talk to random people (myspace, facebook, club penguin, etc.) then I say no. But if you were on a dating website, then I would say yes, it is ok. It all depends on what your feelings about it are.





Im my opinion, I would never date someone online. I would rather be face to face and meet him personally, not over some website.
