Any REAL online GED tests? I was scammed by a fake one... (please help)?

Ok, I live in Manhattan, and two years ago I took an online GED test at www.johnadams-edu.us, it's an actual school that exists in Miami, FL. and on the site it says accredited. They even gave me a transcript. The test cost $300 though, it was $20 down at first to take it, and once I passed (you could retake it every 24 hrs), you would pay the remaining $280. So yes I did pass it eventually and got the diploma plus transcript.

Now I am trying to apply at this college, the counselor said everything is good to go except THAT particular diploma is not approved by the board of Ed. So now I have to retake a GED exam. I tried contacting John Adams about this and no one ever answers during business hours at the number on the site.

I'm very upset over the fact that I was scammed, but what can I do? I really, honestly dont want to do this in person, I'd much rather do it online at my computer in my home and on my own time, I have way too many things going on right now conflicting with my schedule. I know you're gonna say oh try to balance it out, what's more important? Please don't go there, I'm begging you. I'd much rather prefer taking it online.

So are there any ACCREDITED and APPROVED sites online where I can take the GED? Any help would be really appreciated.

As far as I know you can't do that test online. You need to do it in person and have to bring picture id with you.
