Online dating sucks?

I did online dating last year, it was not good at all. A year later, i'm giving it another try. WHy did i bother? same ugly guys online. The older i get....the harder it gets. But seriously, why does online dating attract so many unattractive guys?? The girls look cute...

Online dating sucks?
I don't want to offend any of the men who date on line, but it seems like a loser thing to do, so losers do it. How is it possible to not meet one single woman in real life?





Bottom line- don't date online. Desparate is so not sexy, so why would you expect desparate guys to have something you're looking for?
Reply:there is a lot of dross and a lot of guys only after one thing (and they dont get it so they get desparate) --- ive met a few ladies and while they did not work out it was just normal dating --- online was good for me it let me expand the locations i was looking at and allowed me to meet my lady ---- by accident and 15,000 km away and i suspect i am WAY older than you are --- keep an open mind and expect anything --- i dont believe only losers use online --- we use it it expand our seach area ---- best wishes
Reply:Online dating works for some people. The point is to just maximize your exposure to other singles. You can try speed dating, taking classes or even just starting a conversation with someone at a library or cafe. Just continue to meet more people and your chances of finding Mr. Right will increase. There's no wrong or right way to meet someone.
Reply:Because all the good looking, decent ones really are taken or don't have a problem finding women to date. I know a couple of REALLY good looking guys who are members of online dating sites and they are just male whores looking for a free piece of a** anywhere they can get it so I'd be very skeptical of a good looking guy on the site to begin with anyway-they are probably sleeping with everybody.

The men you speak of are no doubt people just desperate to take advantage of the genuine lookers.


That's the way society is.


There's always someone out there that wants to scam you.


You'll just have to be more thorough before going further.


Treat it just like shopping. If it looks like a bargain take a much closer look first.
