I have a hard time believing online colleges, however, i do not have the time, or the money, to go to a university or anything along the lines of that. I am wondering if anyone has had experince with online colleges. Are they worth it? How do the studies work? Are their any online colleges that offer Creative Writing or Art courses?
Online Colleges?
Your argument is based on a false premise.
Most online colleges are For Profit corporations and are more expensive than reputable state universities. Most state universities have flexible part time programs.
Reply:If you don't have the resources to go to college, I suggest you self-study on the course you want to take since there are a lot of textbooks available on the library or the net then look for some schools that offers examinations that gives certification if you passed. ;)
Reply:I have been on both sides of this argument... I went to college in a classroom setting at the UofA for 3 years, then had to stop b/c I couldnt afford it anymore, so I joined the military. Now being so close to my Bachelors, I wanted to go back to school, I just find it easier now being Active Duty military, pregnant, hectic schedules... to go to school online. The college I am taking classes from is not just an online school but they have campuses also, I just choose to use the online part b/c I don't have time for the classroom setting :) They are really one in the same, and on your diploma it doesn't say Online Degree, it is the same thing as getting a degree from classroom. And now I am currently 10 classes away from my Bachelors.... I am sure there are colleges that offer Creative writing and/or Art courses, you will just have to do your research and find the right one for you. Good luck!
