Wii's Online play?

we look at previous online Nintendo consoles and none of them had online play. Why's that?

And do you think that the people will but the Wii for the online play or the damn wicekdly awesome graphics? Or in other words, will the online play affect sales?

Wii's Online play?
The GameCube Actually Did Have Online Play, If You Go To Some Stores And Look Under Your GameCube, There's Actually An Adaptor For Online Play, However, Only Just 2 Games Actually Used It And Didn't Really Fly..

Nintendo's Response Back Then Was That The Consumer Didn't Want Online Then So They Didn't Make Use Of It..

What They Probably Meant Was That The Online Support For The GC Wasn't Going Much, So They Suppose The Consumer Doesn't Want It, Along The Fact That The User Wouldn't Want To Buy Something Additional To Play When No One Else Would Be Online As Well..

Just One Big Mess..

As For Why People Would Want To Buy The Wii, well, It's Most Likely For The Controller And Games, Not Necessarily The Online Play Or Graphics (which actually are just a bit of an improvement of the gamecube's).. Most Likely It's The Online Feature That's On The 2nd-Reason-Why-To-Buy-Wii List..

In Other Words, Online Support Effecting Sales: A Bit.. Again, Most Will Mainly Go For The Games And The Wii's Controller, Online Play Second..

But It Will Certainly Play A Factor In It's Sales..
Reply:Yeah, one of them was Mario Kart: Double Dash, but I don't know the other one. Report It

Reply:Actually just now I found a list.

Not much but still.... Report It

Reply:i think wii's online play is what i am going to be interested in. yet the graphic are going to be cool too!!
Reply:the GC didnt have online play because nintendo didnt have the games in development to use it and nor were they ready to support it.

people will, most likely, not be using the online support for playing games but rather for downloading them. the Wii will allow the user to buy games for download from the "best" of all the nintendo games of the past, this includes the n64, the snes and the nes. also, sega and atari are adding their archive to the nintendo downloadable library.

btw, the graphics wont be "wicked" they will be a bit better than the GC but this allows for quality of the game rather than the quantity of the pixels
