I met someone online... he's very attractive, intelligent, someone that I would be attracted to if I met him on the street. The only thing is ... I met him online! I feel creeped out. Like one of those desperate people that go online to hook up with people. But I was on Myspace and he approached me and ... I don't know... is it even possible to start a real relationship based off of meeting someone on the internet??
Online love....?
You've just got to be careful...who knows that this guy is really who he says he is? Buy it's not that wierd how online couples get together now'a days, so don't feel creepy.
Reply:What's the big deal? You are "creeped out?"
I don't get it..... what is the hang up. If you like him and he likes you, then you are lucky.
btw.. my boyfriend and I have been dating for a year. We met online and it is the best relationship I have ever had in my life.
Reply:Hello Princess!
I am happy to say that I met my fiance online. We have been together for 5 years and could not be happier.
Having said that you MUST practice caution when meeting people online. There are a lot of wierdos out there.
Well..I'm weird...but not like that hehe
Reply:Usually not at all what they appear to be. You should feel creeped out!
Reply:Yes and No.
Yes because if your really in love with someone on the internet you have the right to have a relationship in real life.
And no cause if you meet him in real life he might be a bad guy and rob or even kill you. There's a lot of crazy people in this world.
Reply:yeah ive actually been in a situation like that
he was just a great guy, and you cant help where you meet the wonderful people in your life. he ended up being my prom date this past year, of course we met before that, but it was a good time and i really do love him. were not togetther hes just a best friend now but i think
i was in love with him for a moment in time
Reply:My daughter met her husband on-line. They had an on-line friendship for over a year then he came out for a visit...then he came out and stayed. They've been married for almost 7 years.
Reply:internet AND love to words that shouldnt go together!
DID YOU KNOW 3/4 of the people on thier are all ready married!
Reply:Many people have done it. I would say go for it and if it works out thats great! Good luck!
Reply:I do not believe that any type of relationship can begin on line as there are a lot of lies and misinformation passed around. It is possible to meet someone with whom to chat with and if later you decide to meet in person then you might consider beginning a relationship. People sound so hillarious when they say they have spoken with their friends on line, they are not even associates let alone friends. And to say that a person has fallen in love on line is even funnier.
Reply:Wow! go meet him! i met my husband six months ago on myspace and i'm glad we met up. I was scared at first but go for it!
Reply:yeah i guess it's possible but you have to be careful too, there's a lot of fraud in the internet ok.
Reply:I met my girl online and we are still dating today. After we met each other we still felt the connection we made online.
Reply:Internet + Love = DISASTER
Reply:I know I had a relation based on Internet ... and it worked out great for a couple of years ...

Reply:been with my internet woman for 5 years now
works out great and if she goes bad I can just list her on ebay
Reply:Maybe. Meet him in person. Spend time with him. See what happens. Make sure you meet in public places until you're sure. Actually, some have found spouses online. It's just very risky.
Reply:DONT!!
That heppened to me when I was 10.
He got my email and started sending me naked pics of him!!EW.!.
And he told me to take naked pics of me and send them to him.
But I didnt.
So dont go with him.!.
Reply:It is possible, I mean, like I have heard that some people have travelled across the world to meet each other through the internet. It is possible. I have a friend from online and he said that he even knew someone that got married to someone they met from the site. Like I have probably said on Answers before, love finds its way in many shapes and forms. (just not in those words) Even on the internet.
