What should i do (Online PS3?

yeah i dont have ps3 online what do i need i have a computer but here is the thing i bought a PS3 when they 1st came out so i bought the one without a silver triming. i thinks its a 30 GB. but anyway heres my situation. i have a computer right next to my ps3..but i have WIRELESS internet. i have a 2 story house and a computer downstairs with wired internet. my mom and dad wont let me use it or let me get a wired internet either. i have 3 first person shooters and a whole bunch of sports games that i think im good at but cant really see how good i am because i always play againts the stupid CPU. here are my questions:





1. what do you think i should do?





2. will my oldER ps3 have online capabilities?





3. how much will it be to have a wired internet?(Like how many components and things will i need to buy)





4. IF thats a BIG IF i get ps3 online capabilities will it cost money like xbox live?





5. last question. if i get online capabilities can i play ps2 games online with it?

What should i do (Online PS3?
When the PS3's came out they all had the built in wireless capabilities. 2, if you have a wireless router in your home, it shoudl be able to pickup the signal anywhere in the house.. 3, it should be backward compatible for the ps2 games, 4. no once your are on line with the PS3, no need for that, most of the new games coming out have the ability to be gamed on line. 5. Once you get online, in the very beginning, under the set up, got to the Network Settings, there will be a slot on there where you can set it up automatically, there will also be a function that can scan for a signal from your wireless routerm then allow it do all of the settings automacially. once this is done it will ask you to test the signal, test it and then your on your way
