Online love romance with fake pics?

you meet someone online and become an online couple.

but if you show him/her fake pics and lie about your identity, is there any chance that you will get in trouble in future?

what would you do if it turned out that your online lover is a fat ugly geek and that she/he has told a bunch of lies?

Online love romance with fake pics?
No, there is no law about showing people fake pics or even giving them false information. Unfortunately, the internet has lots of predators and pervs....and there is absolutely no telling who or what is on the other end....so be very careful. Best of luck to you.
Reply:well then they would no longer be my lover ---- i make no bones about who i am and how i look --- simply because i dont want any relationship to be online only --- i want to meet
Reply:Not in legal trouble, but that person will be upset that you lied to them. If you're the victim of it, be upset that you wasted your time on someone so ugly.
Reply:Try dating in real life, I hear it's much easier!
Reply:I date online and would be pissed if I found out some chick was using fake pics. That is ****** up!
Reply:I'd scream and never EVER date online again. It's a bad idea to date online at all. For all you know it could also be someone waiting for a pretty girl or some young/handsome boy to rape or molest.
Reply:That's a 50/50 chance you take on-line.

Good~Luck to you...
Reply:dump them for not telling the truth.
Reply:YES you will get in trouble in the future because you're eventually going to meet this person if if gets serious.

I'd be pissed if I was lied to regardless of the nature because I value honesty.
Reply:What a person looks like is not nearly important to me as a person's integrity...and lying is lying, no matter how you try to frame it.

I would drop them like a hot coal.
Reply:Get in trouble - you mean legally? If the person with the fake pics convinces the other person to send money or things of value, then it could legally be a matter of fraud. That could lead to criminal charges.

If there was no money lost, the deceived lover could file civil suit and ask for damages for emotional distress or something of the sort - hard to prove, but possible.

Personally, I like fat ugly geeks, but only when they are honest. I happen to be a fat ugly geek myself (well, only half geeky) but I was always very honest upfront about my appearance.
Reply:i would end it immediately, if they did not respect me enough to let me decide myself then they are not worth my time.
Reply:if i was dating anyone who told me a bunch of lies for whatever the reason i would be gone
Reply:You'll bump into your significant other in the least expected place. Please don't fall into the online romance trap... Try other options.
