Which is better ps3 online or xbox live?

well i don't know what the official name for the ps3's online network is called but i've heard that it going to have this awesome new 'HOME' thing but on the other hand i've also heard some pretty bad things about it's actual online gameplay........





1) will i lag playing for example the next gran turismo online?


2) has the ps3 improved it's online network massively from the ps2?


3) is the ps3 online gameplay definetly free?


4) should i get ps3, xbox360 or wii???

Reply:1. If you have a fast connection, then you shouldn't lag. If you have a slow connection, then you'll probably lag.





2. Definitely. For the PS2, each game developer set up their own servers, so one server can very substantially from another server. With the PS3, Sony is now the central server, much like MS is for XBL.





3. Yes, it's free, but the catch is that if you want to make your HOME as nice as possible, you're going ot have to pay for downloads, which is how Sony is getting the money to maintain Sony Online and to offer free internet gameplay.





4. Get whatever you want. Do some research and see which system you like the most.

I have yet to lag online with Ps3 but I don't own Motostorm wich can get lag heavy. but no other games have I lagged on. too many unknown factors to tell if you will lag or not.

It has vastly improved it's online features, but each indivisual company still has to supply the online experience.

100% free for the life of the system including when HOME comes out.





4) should i get ps3, xbox360 or wii???





Noone can tell you this, you need to decide what type of gamer you are and what console will benefit your needs the most. this gen the consoles offer so much diversity its mind blowing.
