Hi all,
I'm living in Jordan (Middle East) and I prepared my online business but one important step in my business I couldn't find any online transaction company (like verisigns, paypal, etc.) support Middle East to open Merchant accounts, why is that? I searched and contacted alot of transaction companies around the world but no luck, the online business is just opened for foreign people (from Europe, the States, etc.)
Can anyone pls. explain that to me?
Thancks,
Online Business?
I think you're able to open an account with Paypal to receive payments through your website, the trouble will be to have this money transferred to your Bank account in Jordan.
Have you tried 2checkout? http://www.2checkout.com
Anyway, this kind of restrictions come mainly for political reasons, I think. And things got worse after the 9/11, it seems the so-called First World Countries look at any movement of funds as a potential terrorism financing. Paypal has even set up a company in Singapore to handle the non-USA residents' accounts.
This is all so crazy it's almost unbelievable. Take Clickbank for instance: they offer accounts for people living in Botswana and South Korea but don't offer an account for any Latin America Country.

Online college?
i got to university of pheonix. i was just wondering would an employer be less likely to hire me because i went to school online? i really think online college is more hard because you have to teach yourself alot. unfortunately i have to attend school online because of work. i am in college to become a school teacher
Online college?
I went for my bachelor's at a traditional school, then landed my teaching position. After I had been teaching for a while, I went to get my masters and took those courses online through Walden University. Online courses really aren't too bad. You get to 'attend' class when you have the time and teaching yourself the material isn't too difficult. It just requires a lot of reading on your part, which would happen at a traditional college, too. Talk to some area school districts and see what they say. If they don't like to hire teachers that receive their degree online, you may have to consider a traditional college in order to get a job. Or, start your coursework online then transfer to a traditional school your senior year so that you have a degree from that 'traditional' school. Good luck!
Reply:i agree with you! online modules are tough..

Online child care certification?
I'm interested in getting certified to work in a child day care center or preschool (in Norfolk/Virginia Beach, Virginia). Due to circumstances right now I can't attend college on campus. Will I be able to find a job with an online education from a school like Penn Foster or Stratford Career Institute?
Does anyone know anyone who's gotten certified for child care online? Or know anyone with experience from online classes at those schools (or any others)? Any recommendations?
Online child care certification?
I know a person that has gotten an On-Line Degree in Business Administration. She just attended her Graduation in July (in person) walked across the Stage.
Hope you find the one you are searching for. I am very interested in getting Certified in Child Care.

The equipment needed for this type of job is very minimal. You only need a computer with an Internet connection, a table and a comfortable chair. Data entry duties include the inputting of correspondence, reports, and spreadsheets into a home computer and then transmitting that data using the Internet. Work at home data entry personnel may also proofread text, edit information, and maintain databases. Data entry jobs usually offer flexible scheduling, allowing people to work when they want to and as little or as much as they want to. Some of the growing fields for work at home data entry include medical and legal transcription, medical coding and litigation coding.

Reply:Yes there are legitimate online jobs available. But be careful---as i think you know there are a lot of bogus offers as well.
An easy way to determine if an offer is valid or a fraud is to check and see if they require a start up fee to join. If they do---I definitely would avoid any further contact with the company. Very few legitimate businesses will require you to pay them in order for them to pay you. It defeats the point! :)
Depending on your current skill set there is a tremendous range in online jobs available---anywhere from data entry to virtual customer care to writing articles and webpage design.

Online classes?
Has anybody ever taken any online classes? Especially the ones with a lot of information involved (like Chemistry and Math)? How exactly does it work, I mean do you do work, homeworks, and tests online? And is it easier since you can research things on the internet while taking a test?
Any other information about taking online classes would be greatly appreciated. Thanks to everyone.
Online classes?
If you are from Ontario, Canada, maybe you could try this website. All information you need it are there.

Reply:I have taken quite a few online classes. I wouldn't suggest taking a math or science class online unless you are good at those subjects, since you can't interact as much with the teacher. If your online class has proctored tests you wont be able to look stuff up on the Internet. I would say if you have the time to actually attend class you should go that route, if not online classes can teach you a lot. Good luck with your school.

Maybe. But before y'all get so excited than a twister in a trailer park, you might want to consider this website below. I know it seems corny, but there are people that will pull scams on others. Just don't get into one of these things and yes, some people will find victims via personals.
Reply:yes and no first it might meet a bad guy and it is best not to do it for your safety and depends on the dating like e harming
Reply:if you can tell who has a good personality and you have absolutely no problem with what a person looks like in real life then online dating seems like your thing.

Online Teaching - Sent Many Applications - Not many responses?
I have a Masters in Management from Troy University and I'm currently looking to teach at the Community College level either online or in the local area. I have applied to many online colleges however I haven't received much feedback. I work for the government as an Contract Specialist. I graduated with a 3.4 with my Master's. Any advice on any online community colleges or any advice on what I can do to achieve my next goal. Thanks
Online Teaching - Sent Many Applications - Not many responses?
A lot of on-line places don't respond when you send your resume. Your best bet to find places that are actually actively hiring is to go to www.higheredjobs.com and www.chroniclejobs.com. Other than those 2 sites, you can go on to the websites of the individual schools in your area. Look for links to "employment" or "human resources". Another option is to do a search for on-line schools and go on each page and look in their HR section. Many colleges require you to fill out an application through their system before they will even consider you.
