Online relationship question?

k so last year i met this guy online (in a chat room) and we started talking and then we talked like everyday for hours (online)

and i dont know why but he asked me if i wanted to be his gf and i said yes and then we "went out" for 6months...

i dont know how it lasted so long because all we did was talk about life.. but i dont know i never had such a deep conversation with anyone

so after 6months we "broke up" because it was frustrating that we could not see each other and we wanted to date people from our school

but i dont know this sounds weird but i think i was in love when i "went out" with him

and i dont know if i should feel ashamed that my first love was an online dude or if i should seek later in life to meet with him in person or what to do

Online relationship question?
I think if both people are open and honest with one another, it is very possible to fall in love. I had an online relationship with someone for 16 months, and although we never met, i was just as in love with him, just as much as someone I really dated in person. We had everything in common, shared common values and goals, and made eachother laugh. It is very frustrating not being able to spend "real" time together. I think it's not something to be ashamed of, but people have a hard time understanding unless they have experienced it themselves. If some day, after dating a variety of people, you still have the desire to meet him, I would say go for it. Do it someplace in public, but don't dismiss what you feel because it was online.
Reply:just to let u know i just made that whole thing up Report It

Reply:meeting him in person would be a great idea just make sure hes not like a kidnapper guy before u go meetin people in any dark allies
